hot food

It's lunch-time and if you're a city dweller, you'll see how hoards of people come rushing out of offices just to get a choice table. Here's one of the outside dining areas of a local coffeeshop. Plastic tables with umbrellas. It helps block off the sun but doesn't do much for the heat. We eat and sweat. Once done, we rush back to the air-conditioned offices. Phew!

The way you photographed this enhances the colours and shapes.

What a brilliant composition here Edwin. How did you manage that I wonder.

The story is great too. Hope you enjoyed the lunch

PS - isn't it amazing that you had 18 comments for the three boys in yellow and half that for the beautiful tower above... I've often found that my favourite shots hardly ever made it to the top number of comments. Could it be that my own sensitivity does not match that of others???

Nice picture. I like the colours the umbrellas give.

This is one reason because I prefer not to go out for lunch when too hot.

P.S. Nathalie, I absolutely agree with you....

I love your photographs. I liked your comments too. I am past that. Being retired now I no longer have to rush anywhere.

But when the crowds disappear & only the silence is near, what yourself...........Ed's always around with one camera or another. And what's for lunch? I've just spent a good part of mine mopping away your tears staining your upset ego, mate!
