backstage pt.6

The show was supposed to close last night but thanks to sold-out performances and a long waiting-list, it has been extended for another week. Today was a day-off. Phew!

So, I decided to continue the Backstage series for a couple more shots, if you don't mind. I know I finished the story yesterday but I just can't help it. I love my pictures. And I'm so happy you like them too.

To coin a phrase used by a very talented photographer, we'll be back to regular programing soon.

EDLEOBRO, I love this photo, every bit as theatrical as theatre! The lights and the composition are great!

hey edwin,

i enjoy your abstract shots, i think it speaks volumes.
and allows the viewer's imagination to go wild with interpretation.

i caught Sunday's performance of Butterfly Lovers - and i enjoyed the show tremendously.

and i've got you (and the english subtitles!) to thank for that. ;)
just out of curiousity, are you mandarin proficient?

you hold such a commanding presence on the stage - the expressions and speech intonation were perfectly executed.
i was fully captivated and taken into the show.

well done!

and thank you for sharing you backstage photos.

jumpa minggu depan for another show!

Again, another great shot. You were down in the pit, eh (or are they backstage, theater layouts are different all over)?
