scarfing it

A sneaky shot this one. The boy was arranging the rosette-folded scarves when I snuck up behind him. He was too involved to notice a towering man with a camera behind him. Snapped the shot and quickly moved away before anyone was the wiser.

If you've noticed, these past days, I'm taking you with me on my day in Masjid India, an area of the city famed for it's fabrics. It's best to get here by train or taxi. There's close to nowhere to park if you decide to drive. It sits on the edge of KL's business district where most banks reside as well as the Supreme Court House.

Clicked on your blog for the first time, at random. Wow! Is Kuala Lumpur this beautiful, or is it your photos? They're all great.

Edwin I love doing this tour with you. We can buy a scarf together and then have a drink of Merlot when we're too tired to walk!

The faces of the mannequins wearing headscarves the other day were dreadful, were'nt they? They all looked so sad!!!! Is that the way a good Muslim wife should look?

Looks like you lovely ladies are taken by the colours. :)

Petrea, great to have you here. I do hope you pop by again.

GTBoy, master of the sneaky shot? LOL :P

Nathalie, je ne sais pas. Being Muslim myself, i can tell you they shouldn't look anything like that. But who am I to pass judgment, oui? Oh bring out that wine and once we're done, we'll cover ourselves with the scarves.

Not just the ladies taken by the colors. Vibrant color never fails to attract my eye. The more intense the better!

So, Edwin, you caught me with your comment yesterday about a fine cup of coffee waiting after refining my photo to satisfaction. -:) I posted the sequel today. Have a look at what was really waiting ...
