KLDP's 'Guess What's In The Box?' Quiz

KLDP's first quiz. Guess what this is and you'll receive a postcard made from one of the many pictures in KLDP's archive. Best thing is you get to choose which one you'd like to see in your personal mailbox. Good? Great!

Now, hints. There are 2 of these 'boxes' in less than a 1 mile radius and City Hall made a big deal of them. Even the Deputy Prime Minister came. You may notice the buttons. Pay a small fee and push a button for relief. Start guessing. I'll unveil the answer tomorrow. Have fun.

I live in KL and still have no idea what this is! It's killing me! Some kind of a ticket machine at the LRT??! Can't wait to find out.

Just a guess: new high-tech public toilets, maybe something KL never had on the street until now. I think the hint is in the word "relief."

haha it's the public toilets that buzz after 9mins(?) to give you a heads up that the doors will open in 1min, at the 10min mark. lol. hilarious.

Hi there, thanks for welcoming Toruń DP! I have been to KL before and love the city! Not sure what this is but my immediate reaction was its the entrance to a public toilet. The word "relief" kind of gave it away (if Im right that is!!). Hope to see you again!

I agree with the StrangeTaste [Bob], Jing, and Lishun who guess it is a public toilet. I think the timer is to show how long you must wait while the toilet is automatically cleaned.

Can us locals take part in this? It's the high tech and expensive public toilets located at Jalan Bukit Bintang (bonus points for location???). If I can't, the next person can use this answer ;O)

Oh, thanks for dropping by. I went to Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Granada, Seville and Cordoba! More details in my other non-photo blog.

Ah, sweet victory. Edwin, I don't see an e-mail address link on your blog. If you go to "view my complete profile" on my blog, there is a link to email me. Send me your email address and I'll send you my postal service address for the card off list. Better get looking through your archives.

Edwin, I know just the photo I want on my postcard. I remember one with sandals, a doorway, shadows, and lighting that really appealed to me. Now I have to find it. Your hit count may go up with all of us "public toilet" guessers browsing your archives.
