the rat approaches

The day after Christmas, the decorations for the next big celebration went up. In about a months time, Chinese New Year. This coming new year is heralded by its mascot, the rat.

As you see here, red lanterns adorn the ceiling of Central Market, one of our many tourist shopping places.

It's Monday. My day just ended and I'm wondering what to cook for dinner. Have a great one y'all.

Instead of lanterns, the shops around here have Valentine's Day. I am prepping for the New Year's celebration however!

Brilliant photo Edwin. The grey/red contrast works beautifully as well as the various textures.

Weird and inconsistent. You seemed to use a perculiar of focal points from the roof of the stalls at the foreground all the way to the speakers and roof panellings at the background. Very confusing. Did you adjust the saturation of this pictures so that the lanterns would standout? Try not to.
