masked crusader
Some of you may remember, I work with a group of challenged teenagers every Tuesday, a project called The Creative Stars which began in April '07. A quick refresh for KLDP's newer readers: A group of KL's theatre practitioners teach these teens everything there is to know about a life in Theatre. Movement, acting, voice, costume and set design, administration, dance. At the end of March, The Creative Stars will mount their first show.
Here is Yudesh, getting his face-mould made. Tomorrow, I'll show you some of the finished masks.

Edwin, Working with adolescents is both challenging and rewarding. Good luck. Tell Yudesh he looks very fetching in his face-mould!
that's a cool project.
hope they listen to you and you having fun with them, especially now when you prepare for the show.
This is a great project to be involved in. When I was younger I was a member of a local Theatre group and we made masks like this. Something else we did, which maybe you could try, was a fashion show with costumes made from rubbish. Clean rubish, obviously!
