page after page

This was such a joy to find. Nowadays, these little sidewalk newsagents are fast disappearing, replaced by a more aesthetically pleasing, fluorescent-lit, air-conditioned shops. I'm not complaining. I go to these 'cooler' shops for my monthly grabs. Like I said, it was such a joy to see this.

Change is change but no matter how quickly things move, there will always be something that takes it back to where it began.

I agree with g_mirage about the fab composition treatment you gave this shot. I like that the boy is in motion, reaching up, too. A real vintage look, like it's the 60s or something.

Yes indeed! I like the body language of the boy reaching for his selection ... or perhaps he works there and is straightening the display. Is that a sink in the bottom center? Interesting plumbing if so.

They are arranged so neatly but goodness, you'd need to be tall to reach the highest. Nice shot, Edwin. Funny place for a sink?

Your February 12th photo and today's reminds me that I like photos of patterns. Architecture in one and alignment of a display in today's ... Personally I rarely purchase a magazine any more. However I do enjoy reading a book. Newspapers, magazines, and books are all available online but there is still something great about turning the page.

I am looking for Kuntum and Dewan Siswa in the photo.

Do they still sell it?
