bloomin'


The Bunga Raya (Hibiscus) is the Malaysian national flower and my mother has suddenly fallen in love with it. She went to the nursery and brought home several pots. These are the yellow ones. I noticed the red ones sprouting buds today.

I'd never looked at hibiscus that closely, the pistils look like little planets, what a fantastic macro!

The news is not so good in Avignon, more like nuclear pollution :-(
