Bangsar Pasar Malam pt.1

Bangsar, a suburb in KL. At one time, it was the address to have. In the last 10 years, it has turned into the bar/pub centre of the city much to the chargrin of the homeowners. However, every Sunday evening, you'll find inhabitants of this city flock to the Pasar Malam (Night Market)to buy everything from plants, clothes, fake designer watches and groceries. The food, especially, is what everyone comes for. Cheap, fresh and to stock up for the week till Sunday comes again.

~ to be continued: more food coming

Oh Kris, my friends and me were craving the Chee Cheong Fun (flat rice-flour noodles) but it was the one stall that didn't open. So we shared a Maggi Goreng instead.

Wait till you get here Chris! If you love food, you'll love Malaysia.

Anna, it's the ambience that lures us to it.

And it is the best pasar malam. Been to the others and the quality really doesn't compare (or are Kris and me being a tad bit biased?)

anyone got a great cure for insomnia?

Aiseh..the Bangsar pasar malam is pretty small compared to others in KL la.
But what sets it apart from others is the variety I guess. Near where I live there are no stalls selling flowers or fresh fish, just tonnes of food and bootleg CD's!
