played live pt.1

I discovered why I've been having problems posting. Blogger is being unfriendly to Safari, my favourite browser. The load-picture icon doesn't appear or any of the other familiar buttons. What's going on? Now I'm on my secondary browser, Camino. Hallelujah!

This was taken by Kenny, one of the production crew. This is the Malaysian cast. There I am in the corner giving my undivided attention to Fahmi (he on the chair) and savoring his every word. Why am I posting this shot? It was performed in KL. And I'm suffering post-show blues of the highest order. Empty and numb and I'm already in rehearsal for the next show I'm in. No rest for the wicked (and I've been told I am, wicked that is!)

Tomorrow, I present the Singapore cast of the Second Link company. Oh, how I miss them!

You're so devoted to your passions, it's so easy to understand, seeing you looking after K performance...

Your post show blues is natural blues. Listen Moby again, and keep your bluesy feeling, as it's so nice to leave it behind when come times of rejoicing.

PS : i can post, but it was hard !

Finally! I've had problems off and on since Sunday early evening. Irritates me, and I think I'll start exploring other blogger sites. Enough of that.

I can't quite figure out who you are in the group, even tho you said you were in the corner.

Respect your dedication to your craft.

Edwin,

just realised something about the cast. I think on both sides there's one with shiny head. Edwin and Yu Beng... was it intentional? hehe...

Hope the new energy you're putting into the next show will alleviate some of that...and answer me this, how the heck did you get so tall & thin? Something in your genes hmmmmm? Hope I made ya LOL!

Post-show blues, I guess I know what it is...during those times the actors may be cranky, moody and not to be approached by publicists because the former are danagerous and the latter are insensitive...hehe, that is, from my experience...the better the actors the bluer they become, but the older the actors the less blue they are...so Ed,you are still young!

Interesting shadow under the man on the chair. I hope your next production is as rewarding as this past one.

Edwin,
Your photos are lovely and your commentaries are lively! I've enjoyed reviewing your blog for both. Congrats on the successful end of one project and for having another lined up and waiting. A hard thing to do for sure! I'm a geek, not an actor, but my dad was an actor so I remember the blues, the start ups, the reviews....

Congrats,
-Liz

Having only done small local theater, I can only imagine the blues you get after an undertaking like you have done!

Press on Edwin!

(PS, I thought the wicked part was only a rumor, its true?!? :) )

Oh Chris, if I listened to Moby, I might just slit my wrists. I listened to Billie Holliday instead ;)

The bald one Kate ;)

Nothing intentional Keropok, we're just 2 very attractive men who happen to be botak! ;)

Ame, looks can be very deceiving. I may be tall but I've piled on the pounds. I hide it well but I can't fit into any of my trousers! I was once hunky...boohoo!

Lisi, what a compliment! I must be damned good cos I nearly admitted myself to a mental institution!

Oh Meg, I doubt it. But one can still dream, right?

Jazzy, we're always looking for people who have a passion for the arts. But the money isn't very good. You get fed with passion instead. Great flavours!

Thank Liz. It must've been quite a ride with your dad.

No rumour Jugs... malicious back-stabbing from jealous twats! LOL!
