overhead

Another picture with yellow as the focus. I've been chancing across a lot of yellow lately. Anyway, these yellow umbrellas are light fixtures at Headline, the hair salon my friends go to. The owner and head-stylist Thomas is Thai and decorated the entire salon to look like a buddhist sanctuary. Really quite pleasant. Buddha busts, lanterns and teak furniture. And he hires the cutest boys. The tea's good too!

Is this one of the original oily paper umbrellas? I'm sure it is because it's got the right quality to it. The light, the colour and the cropping are perfect... and is the description you make of the place!

Oh Poddy! They're butterflies made of feathers. I doubt my girlfriends would sit with dead bugs hanging over their heads ;)

Yes Jane, please do come visit.
