sunset

The sun sets and people rush home from work to have dinner with their families. The yellow hues of the sun makes way for the tender caress of night. But before that happens, it shows off it's most gorgeous colours before moving to another part of the world. I love that last hour right before twilight.

Which do you prefer: Sunrise or Sunset?

Waouhh impressionnante cette photo. tres interessant cette difference d'architecture en une seule photo. bravo, ce que l'on appelle une photo poster.
personnellement pas de preference, les lumieres du matin et du soir sont differentes et ont chacune leurs charmes.

Waouhh. impressive this photograph. very interesting this difference in architecture in only one photograph. cheer, which one calls a photo poster. personally not preferably, the lights of the morning and the evening are different and have each one their charms.

Oh my! these are amazing buildings!

I don't know... sunrise is really beautiful when you are next to the sea... but it's too early in the morning, so I don't enjoy them usually... maybe I say sunrise 'cause of that :)

I prefer the sunsets-there's just something about all that glorious color closing out the day...followed by twinkling city lights.

Wonderful photo that encompasses so much! Sunrise or sunset? Depends upon my mood; like new beginnings so I'll probably tip toward the sunrise.

What a stunning photo! I love seeing the whole scene yet having my eye drawn toward the hotel in the sunset light in the foreground. Kudos!
Me, although I do love sunrises, I am more apt to actually see a sunset. ;^) There are generally more particles in the air at sunset, so I think these may be the more colorful of the two, but dawn has it's own style of beauty.

Wow! So many early risers and sunset dreamers :)

I love sunrise too (new beginnings and all that) but sunset holds that something special for me. Kinda like the end of a day filled with accomplishments. Sit back and enjoying it all.

Thanks again for the votes.

A huge view in one photo !
Sunrise or sunset - it`s easy to see them here almost in the same time in the middle of summer and middle of winter! If pictures can tell, so, it is sunsets.

Edwin, man, what you've been smoking or reading lately? So profound.

I prefer sunsets because in my part of the world the light is so much better at twilight.

Now the question should be do you prefer Julie Delpy/Ethan Hawke in Before Sunrise or in Before Sunset? I chose the latte again.
