the 3 maskerteers

From left to right: Charmaine, Yudesh and William. Charmaine fancies herself as a bit of a star and made her mask into one. Yudesh wasn't sure what he wanted it to look like so he decided to add sparkly things until he was happy. William wanted a crown.

Charmaine has Down Syndrome. Yudesh has a combination of disorders but the doctors labeled it Downs. William has Williams Syndrome. These kids may be called 'chalenged' by us, but the challenge was ours, learning to deal with a group of teens with different conditions. It has been a dream so far.

Have a look at some pictures from my Flickr collection.

Totally gorgeous, Edwin.
Sorry I have not dropped in much lately; haven't been too well - just able to maintain my own daily postings. But hopefully I am on the mend again.

Edwin this is a wonderful post.
I've just visited your B&W star potraits gallery, they are fantastic.

I'm sure the experience of working with these "challenged" kids must be as wonderful for them as it is for you.
