do's & don'ts of escalator travel in KL
From top left corner:
DON'T Wear a floor length dress, DO Wear a mini-skirt
DON'T Sit there doing your business, DO Use it as a urinal
DON'T Dance alone next to it, DO Hold a young lady's hand
Ok folks. You must excuse my banal humour. I've been bedridden and ill. Today, I had to get up because I'm not excused from rehearsal. What's wrong with my body this time? Acute Tonsilitis. Can't eat, drink, sleep without crying...blah blah blah. But I'm feeling much better today. Started eating soft lumpy food about a day ago. This happens to me annually. Thank heavens it's healing. I've to get on a plane on Friday.

Edwin, this is delightfully weird. I don't know much about Malaysian politics but do you have some of the top-down social control of Singapore? I don't think it would be a good idea to tell men they can pee on the escalator in the US. Imagine what would happen after a baseball game.
Tonsillitis is nasty stuff. Hope you feel better soon.
Hope you would get well soon...in time for to enjoy your next destination!
i'm so glad this is my homepage. i knew about the great photos and wonderful descriptions, but had no idea that i would laugh out loud! that was so very funny!
feel better!
Very funny! I like your own rules! Hope you are back to full health soon :)
Edwin, like Strangetastes above, I love this sort of social snapshot. It really enriches our knowledge of a place and its people. Thanks for posting this and I hope that you are feeling a bit better soon.
hahahahah!
Glad you are feeling better
Interesting signs and funny texts :)
Hope you're much much better today Edwin.

LOL.
The bottom left, the guy seems to be sneaking away.
That's the first time I've laughed out loud today. And it happened twice. First, I loved the picture. Then, as I was making my own jokes, I saw that you beat me to the punch. Super.
I love these signs too, and I can never stop myself from doing exactly what you've done - making up ridiculous meanings that were the furthest thing from the poor signmaker's mind as he sat designing his sign. :P
