a hard day's night

street artist: another portrait done. one more and I'm taking a break.

If you're walking the shopping district, stop and have your portrait done. It takes about an half hour or so.

Live painting is becoming popular in the US. No quite the same of a street artist but a similar concept. What I have seen lately are artist painting a band while they perform or a night club while we drink. Check out a friend of mines web site for an example. www.dumahdesign.com

I had my portrait done only once so far and afterwards I thought it didn't look like me at all :(. I guess next time I'll have to take a closer look at the work they're displaying to get a better feeling of their skills...

Thanks for the link Denton. I really like the Festival painting. the colours are so vibrant and captures the atmosphere of the concert so well.

Kris, didn't lah. I just take picture only. The artist had just finished an Arab woman. She was fully veiled so I don't think it took him long.

hey Nicola, sorry to hear about your portrait. I had one done by a caricaturist and he captured my features perfectly...dumbo ears and all!

has everyone gone over to carlos' yet? great picture!

and luggi's too...quite an artist that one.

Grant, you must have been here quite a lot. You are right about Bukit Bintang. This is right after you cross the road from Lot 10.

Bob, I only wish I had your eye with a camera.

It's funny ti see that all over the world artist in street can make your portrait, as in Paris in front of Beaubourg or in Montmartre
