all strung-up

Taken at a costume rental store and seeing them made me feel like a puppet myself. You know, how certain times in your life you feel manipulated? Or like a figure-head leader? A little wooden boy who dreams to be real one day?

Yes, I've felt that way in the past. But age and experience have let me detach from that.

Right now I am reading a book entitled Covering by Kenji Yoshino, the thesis of which is acting against our nature, acting conventional, leads to loss of civil liberties.

So no more puppetry. Rise up!

As a puppeteer, I love shots like these. They look really hand made and unique. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, the dog puppet looks real. That was what caught my attention. I'm glad you liked the shot.

Also thanks for the kind words. I had a busy day yesterday and I let it get to me (like a pressured tennis player) but everything went well.

Thanks for the heads up on the Kenji book.
