being on top

The evening comes and the twilight colours of the sky , however brief, play until night. I'm still looking up. There's something about being on top. The lines and angles alters our perspective of things.

This is part of the roof of one of the oldest theatres in town, Panggung Bandaraya (City Theatre). About 20 or so years ago, it was struck down by fire and was only reopened about 3 years ago. It is part of the building that houses the adminstration offices of the Supreme Court. Though the theatre has some strange rental policies, it is fast becoming a popular venue for most theatre companies.

Awesome Edwin!

I can just feel that golden area radiate warmth!

And the color of the sky...I can just imagine the end of a beautiful sunset somewhere out there...

Nice to look up sometimes isn't it? Does it beat lying in the street?

I wish I were back in Paris too, LOL!

This is awesome. The yellow color of the light is very contrast with the dark blue sky.

Ame: LOL! Much safer but the neck's aching!

Thank you Louz. I amazed myself with these shots. i bought a Manfrotto tripod today so hopefully I can begin my lessons in night photography.

Kris, apa nak buat? We Malaysians all travel in the same direction. Still nowhere near what you have achieved with your shots.

Tanty, terima kasih ya?

Jazzy, regretfully not many stars in the city sky. That's the one thing I miss about not living in Europe anymore.

Luccia, you're most welcomed. inspired by your words to find a beauty of my own.

Magical Alice? I've gone from awesome to magical. That's just breathtaking. Thank you.

I really like the colour of this shot. Yellow and blue are my favourite colours. well, I like red, balack and white too but that's for another day.

Edwin, this is beautiful. I would like to try night photography as well but am not there yet equipment wise. I like your photos of buildings looking up into them. They are really neat!
