gas what?

As popular as electric ovens are, many of us still use gas. Here's a truck doing a delivery of gas tongs.

Today is the eve of Chinese New Year. Families will be getting together for the annual reunion dinner. Kids will be running around the garden and tormenting the pets. Adults will be stuffing their faces and comparing the dishes to last year's selection. Teenagers will be texting on their handphones. Eventually little red packets stuffed with money will be handed out. The teens will run to get them and just as quickly, run back to their handphones. The adults will continue to eat. Good homecooked food. All gas ovens.

Happy Chinese New Year.

I reckon cooking with gas is far superior. Can't imagine cooking Chinese food on electricity - you can't adjust the heat instantly and as required! We're lucky ebough to have natural gas piped in, so need for cylinders!

Gas what! Happy New Year, will you have your stuffed little red packet too? ;) Don't waste too much, the handphone bill can be quite expensive next year!

Je te souhaite une bonne année (cela fait bizarre de dire cela en fevrier ;o) ) et une bonne fete.

I wish you a good year (that made odd of saying that in February ;O)) and a happy spend.

I think any given teenager could be dropped-in to any given country, and they would all act the same!
Love your commentary today :)
