loose tap

Water. The one element none can live without and is one helluva a subject for photography especially for an amateur like me. I get very excited when I capture water movement. This one I took while I was walking to the shops just a street away from where I live. The tap was shut but the water still dripped. I only took this one shot and it worked enough for me to wear a huge smile and continue walking.

Thank you to water for the life giving energy you give us. Aqua Vita!

superbe photo, l'eau semble figée comme si un Stalactite sortait du robinet.

superb photograph, water seems fixed as if a Stalactite left the tap.

nice timing!. I looks like the frozen drips of ice you sometimes see here in canada :) It's not quite cold enough yet but we're on our way. We've already had a little snow!

Kris got there first. Gotta also find time to worry about the waste of the most vital resource we have. Get back there, Ed & turn it off somehow, or I'll set Al Gore on you! Or worse, Michael Moore! :))
No word for ages man...

Is the tap plastic rather than metal? Perhaps that's why it's leaking.

You have truly outdone yourself with this basic object, but unbelievable perspective. I especially love your last sentence in the description.

Well done for that water shot. The tap has an original shape by the way.

Next time you pass by, don't forget your hankerchief tissue for that poor boy :-)

I just did a water photo a few days ago... but I am like Lisi, green with envy. Your shot is beautiful... are you part of the X-men gang and have special powers to freeze water in mid-air. Tell us, you don't want us to think you are mutant or something like it, right?
