Yesterday, I finally went to see my acupunturist, Dr.Liew. I've been meaning to see him for months because of my back problem. So, Way Cheng and me drove to him for one of our sessions. Needles, cupping (as you can see) and a painful half hour of acupressure. Feeling so much better now. Will feel even better after a couple more sessions. Next one next Wednesday.

Today is my birthday. 33. A master number. And being the 11th, another master number, it's doubly good. The next one will only come when I'm 44. Not that I'm big on numerology, of course. However, I'm feeling positive about this next year of mine.

Thanks for the picture taking, Way Cheng. Have a great weekend everyone.

Happy Birthday Edwin!

I hope the treatment works for your back. I know from experience that back pain is definitely not fun at all.

Edwin - happy birthday and hurray for being back! You have always had one of the best blogs on CDPB and I have your postcard photo of Petronas Towers proudly displayed on my desk.

This picture looks very strange to those of us used to western medicine. I would be afraid of this procedure.

Happy belated birthday, Edwin. My grandma used to have her DIY cupping treatment, too. And I will be sitting beside of her, looking curiously to the burning flame inside the cup.

Get well soon, Edwin. =)

Thank you everyone!

My back is good. And I had a great time with my friends: dinner and dancing. Just what the doctor ordered.

Hi Edwin, just popping in for a visit.

Cupping isn't big at all in France or in Australia, in fact you're the first person I know who ever had this done to him. Have no idea how painful it can be. Hope it works for you anyway!

Big and belated good wishes for your birthday. May your 33 be a wonderful year!!!

Thanks you so much for the wonderful wishes! I am now 2 weeks older than my last post :)

I went to my last acupunture session and is was painful. However, I'm feeling fantastic and my body is nearly back to normal.

Please go try one day. Cupping doesn't hurt at all. The needles and acupressure...yes. Only because of the ailments you may have.

have a great one everyone!
