hard knock life

A road sweeper's life in KL isn't an easy one. The salary is a pittance and the citizens have no idea how to use rubbish bins. Yup, sweet wrappers, cigarette packets, bits of papers all over the streets which clutters the streets and clogs the drainage. So, men and women with the brooms sweep the city in hope of making it a little cleaner. The heavy rains nowadays doesn't help either. My best wishes to these people and a big thank you.

This photo reminds me of a theme we had a year or so ago...photographing from the waist down (or something like that). Is that right? I remember snapping a pair of green boots. Lots of interesting photos, such as this one. Good commentary on one of your city's workers. Come see my second MN workers series and my 500th post!!

Beautiful beautiful photo Edwin, a tell tale one and very nicely composed. Nice tribute paid to the city sweepers too.
I'm all with you on your connections pbms. Keep smiling, we love you.

Yes, people don't realise all the hard work that these workers do for towns and cities.
