a time supreme
You know, sometimes we make promises to people, as much as possible we keep them. However, with all the stuff that piles on our platter, only a handful of promises ever make it. We still try not to disappoint anyone.
Anyone remember my post A Love Supreme? I hope so. Kate wanted to see more of the courthouse and I promised I'd show her more. So, in B+W, is the clock from the courthouse.
Hope you like it Kate. Have a great weekend everyone.
ps. here is the actual shot. pure and unadulterated.
click to see the larger image. it took over an hour to post this.

This is just like a postcard - very beautiful in the b/w! I like that you let us see so much of the sky. It frames the building beautifully!
A very nice weekend to you too!
I first saw the title before the image - & thought association: "A Love Supreme"
I saw the image - & thought association: "Neorelix, yesterday" Seen it?
I read the lines and multi-sense association: "J.Coltrane & the transcendent, perfect eponymous piece".
It's too hot for any more than the essentials today. Peace & calm more than anything.
Thanks Kathrine. Such a compliment!
Stewart, thanks for sending me over to Cambridge. I hadn't visited for a couple of days. If I knew I would've posted it next week before I left for the festival. However, I rushed it out because I accomplished another B+W. Only the 2nd one I've published. You wanna see the colour one?
Hi Edwin,
nice photos in the last week, I'm trying to catch up with all the happenings on DP around the world.
Very interesting self portrait theme that I missed =(
Ciao
Sure! Come back to mine also, nice follow up to all this! And I urge to check out the Greek boneca's work from there, if you haven't before. Special. Unlike me, who's off the planet today. But I've taken JC & Miles with me.
Keep doing your good!
Me just one more time b4 heading for Nirvana, to say I got the confirmation of what I suspected - The Greek lady does NOT take the pictures posted. Who does? Dunno, but I'm uneasy with that idea...
Yes, Yes, I do like it! I agree that it is picture postcard perfect; better still it is of exhibition quality. Thank you!!
Very beautiful building. I'd like to see it in color, also.
Nice one Edwin. They say time stops for no man but it seems to have done so for both of us yesterday. The b+w treatment gives it a very clean quality - it's a lovely shot. For some reason my head automatically tilts to achieve the angle I seem to prefer in my own shots of buildings ;-p
Wow this is a superb picture. Not a lot more to be said.
Good Job Edwin, I agree with Gerald..Superb!
Wow, another great one Edwin. I like the B&W choice for this shot, so many different gradents of gray in the brick, white highlights and the black on the top, perfect range of density!
Timeless! It's really nice -- great depth and texture.
Was it modelled on the campanile in Venice, by any chance??
Thanks everyone ;)
Glad you liked it Kate. Sorry I forgot about it. Only remembered when I was driving past it.
Been trying to post the colour one for the last hour. Blogger is doing my head in!
Love it, really love it.
hola muy buena estas fotos un saludo
I think I prefer the color one more because of - well, the color =)
I like the colour one too Kala but I thought I'd post the B+W one first just for the sake of history. And dude, I liked the flash effect on your portrait. It's the first thing I noticed. It was your face I wanted to see anyway. Not my fault your body commanded my attention ;)
I have been looking for sites like this for a long time. Thank you! provider dsl
